Trauma-informed. Culturally inclusive therapist. Companion in transformation. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or questions around identity — you're not alone. I'm here to offer a grounded, compassionate space where healing becomes possible. As a licensed psychologist (FSP) working in Zürich and Biel, I support individuals, couples, families, and therapy groups — both in-person and online. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and always human-centered.
I provide psychological counselling for adults at any stage of life and work primarily in English and Romanian in f2f or Online setting.
I grew up in a small village in Romania, seeing the world through books and understanding life through stories. My favorite childhood book was Heidi, and I used to dream of one day seeing the Alps. That dream never left me — and today, I live and work in Switzerland, helping others navigate their inner worlds, just as I navigated mine.
I knew I wanted to be a therapist since I was 12 — and I never changed my mind.
While life took me through six years in the corporate world, leading teams and coaching professionals, that dream quietly shaped everything I did. I used that time to fund my studies and deepen my understanding of human dynamics — how we resist, adapt, grow, and sometimes get stuck.
My approach today is both symbolic and structured — I work with metaphors that speak to the mind and soul, with kindness, clarity, and emotional containment. I use methods like:
My practice weaves together symbolic depth and structural clarity, using metaphors that resonate with both mind and soul. Grounded in kindness, emotional containment, and cultural sensitivity, I offer a therapeutic space that honors individual journeys while understanding collective contexts.
Navigating between Western individualism and collectivist traditions, I bring particular sensitivity to:
• Generational trauma
• Post-communist identity dynamics
• Cross-cultural family systems
• Silence/shame narratives

Please note that although I’m a FSP-registered psychologist, counselling sessions are not considered psychotherapy, therefore your basic health insurance probably won’t cover the sessions even if you have a referral from a doctor. It is likely that your complementary insurance will cover my services or a part of the fees, but this is highly dependant on your individual situation, so it is best to clarify it with your insurance provider.
If you are not sure if this is the right solution for you or you want to ask me some questions before booking a consultation, feel free to contact me.
